Irwin has a wide range of experience in analog and digital circuit design, implemented in the most modern techniques for both small and large scale manufacturing. He designs both products and systems. His designs cover the range of D.C. to 1 GHz, including R.F. He is proficient in the design of instrumentation, signal conditioning, and data acquisition circuits for low output transducers such as thermocouples, thermistors, strain gauges, and pyroelectric devices. Irwin also interfaces these designs to computers and data systems using embedded microprocessors. As a consultant, Irwin is often called upon to solve problems such as ground loops, oscillations, noise, drift, component manufacturing tolerances, etc. in existing products. Irwin makes effective use of the CAE/CAD capability at his own facility. He delivers the final product in the form of breadboards, prototypes, final manufacturing drawings, or floppy disks. Irwin is also available to provide expert testimony in patent litigation.
