NOVA Consulting specializes in hardware and software designs for embedded microprocessor and automated test equipment applications. We have handled varied projects - ranging from embedded systems for IEEE-488 control to custom hardware that actually goes inside your PC. The unique skills that we bring to your project allow us to develop both the hardware design and the software necessary to control it. NOVA provides software from the low level device driver to the end-user's Graphical Interface. We are fluent in C/C++, Visual Basic, and Assembly language on the low-end; with National Instruments' LabWindows, C.V.I., and Microsoft Access on the high-end. Brian Kain has over 20 years experience designing test fixtures and working with test equipment - IEEE-488, RS-232 controlled and PC peripherals. He has designed custom hardware for test, control, and communication purposes - and writes the software drivers for these devices. He designs the Graphical User Interface (GUI) programs to make your test system into a polished, easy to use product.
