To get listed in the LICN Directory, you must be a member in good
standing of the IEEE Long Island Consultants' Network. LICN
membership is open
only to current members of the IEEE. To become a member of LICN,
read
the Membership Information Form, the constitution and code of ethics(in both PDF or html.
The other files are PDF). Print the Membership
Information Form, complete it and snail mail it to
IEEE Consultants Network of LI

with your check for current dues of $100 payable to IEEE Consultants
Network
of LI. See also the information below to get a head start on
having your information appear on this web site which is generated from
the LICN database.
Renewing members should reread the Code of Ethics, check your online
listing
information and write and sign a statement stating:
1. I will abide by the Code of Ethics and
2. I certify that my online information is correct.
Print your name and IEEE membership number on that statement and
send
it with your dues checks to the same address.
Both new listings and updated information for your directory and skills
matrix
listings should follow the guidelines described in "How to Get Listed" and briefly
summarized
below. Also, if a deadline is near, please email an alert
to: Webmaster@consult-li.com
concerning
any transactions involving your membership.
If you are not currently listed, look at several of the listings
and
supply similar data on the LICN Data
Update Form.
If you wish to modify an existing listing, view your listing in
your
browser.
Make the desired changes and click the Submit button.
Note: change a few words with: s/17/20/ etc.
Similarly, use the LICN Skills
Matrix Update Form to change skills matrix entries. Notice
the NEW, ADD or REMOVE choice at the top to submit a new list, or add
or remove from your existing list.
Your current list of skills in the skills matrix are listed as
keyword metadata in your online listing. Under View Menu,
chose
View Page Source
You can submit any changes, or a complete new list using the Skills Matrix Update Form.
If your browser does not support forms, then follow the directions
below
under "without forms".
