Defeated. The prevailing sentiment was that we should spend our money on a new directory and advertising. Papers are being solicited for LISAT 2008. A seminar on Vicor power supplies was announced for the following Tuesday. Nominations for 2008 officers to be voted on at December meeting Chairman - Jerry Brown 1st Vice Chairman - Peter Buitenkant, who says he will not automatically run for Chairman next year. 2nd ViceChairman - Sam Sadinsky Treasurer - Dave Rost Secretary - Richard LaRosa Nominations remain open until the voting. There is a problem in the production of the Pulse of LI involving the LI Section and Dave Allen which was confirmed by a recent e-mail from the section Chairman. The prevailing sentiment that I got at our meeting was that we would continue to work with Dave Allen on the production of our directory and other advertising. Member photographs were made for inclusion in the publications. Full speed ahead, despite bad experience with the vendor. There is also the need for an up-to-date mailing list that extends beyond Long Island. The discussion topic was trusting your judgment in murky situations.
