Telephone volunteers: February - John Liguori March - Larry Rachman April - Len Anderson May - Marty Kanner CPR lecture/training/certification was discussed as the subject of the April meeting. We were not sure about how Good Samaritan laws work. Murray Kleiner has followed up on type of meeting and laws. Marty Kanner suggested the Section Historian, Rod Loman as a speaker. John Dunn led the Anonymous Night program. Questions discussed were: 1. How to keep up with changing technology. 2. How to protect against virus and other computer attacks. 3. How to turn down or get out of an assignment that appears or turns out to be a loser. 4. What to do about an opportunity to consult outside of our area of expertise. 5. Should you be optimistic when things are going well? 6. Best way to tell if prospective client is a flake. 7. Cooperation or competition with other consultants. Dave Rost announced $10051.53 in our account. We have 37 full members and 2 Associate Members. Two former(?) members have moved out of the area. The topic and speaker for the March 1 meeting was announced as the meeting was breaking up: "Hurricane Suppression by Forced Upwelling" by Richard LaRosa. Hope to see you there.
