Meeting started at 7:08 PM and I counted about 25 people. Only a couple of them were nonmembers.

Dave Rost reported $6702.55 in our account.

Our debit card is being charged for the new telephone referral service, but we are still 
using the old system. Volunteers are:

There was an announcement about Microsoft Movie Producer. Powerpoint synced with video.

We got an idea of what a patent attorney charges for a provisional patent - $1600.

John Dunn's technical talk showed how to switch between two LED's with a spst switch, a 
differential amplifier, a spot heating tool for identifying heat-sensitive components, 
noise figure of a lossy pad, a passive network with voltage gain, the proper place to 
connect the ground in a system that uses cables, perfect musical scales vs. tempered 
scale, patterns formed by certain tiles (Truchet ? Tiles) arranged with random orientation. 
John will send his Powerpoint file if you request it.

I apologize for errors and omissions. It would take forever to fill in all the holes. If 
anybody wants to comment or correct my work, it's probably easiest for them to send an 
email directly to members at consult-li dot com. I've noticed that when I email the list 
I don't get included in the distribution. Jim Latourrette says that the sender may be 
excluded to avoid duplication. So I'll just assume that you all get this emailing. The 
copy that I send to my IEEE alias will confirm that this email went out over the internet, 
and if it doesn't bounce back I know that it got to the member list.
