January 5, 2005 at 7:00 PM at Briarcliffe College.

Attendance: Approximately 21 members and 5 nonmembers.

The March meeting may be a joint meeting with another organization.

We discussed methods of informing members and prospective attendees of 
meeting cancellation because of weather or other emergency. There was a 
lot of discussion but my notes do not indicate that a decision was reached 
on how to do it.

Telephone volunteers: January - Larry Rachman
                                February - Joel Morrow
                                March - John Liguori

Tech Island Directory ads: Chris Early is collectiing $45 from each member 
who wants to advertize.

http://LICN.org website. Jim Latourrette described the new website. We 
approved an expenditure of $125 per year for a secure sign-in. Our password 
is our 8-digit IEEE member number. Insert zeros in front to get 8 digits.

John Dunn gave a great presentation (as usual) on "Circuit Designs, Tricks 
and Traps". Contact him if you want a copy of his PowerPoint presentation.
